A Tale of Strange Days is a magical trip through a young man’s experience in a park. Each day brings a different animal encounter. The story begins in the fall and ends the next spring. A squirrel smoking a cigarette, raccoons riding motorcycles, turtles listening to opera, bears exercising to rock songs, a blue jay with a spitball tube and dwarves having a water-gun fight add to the fun. Interaction with other humans is a treat to our man. The story takes an international turn as the young man visits family members in Australia. He encounters various animals down under and reports on his visit. Once back in the park, the story becomes even more strange.
