Black in Two Worlds

Carl A.Fields (1919-1998) reflects on his experiences at Princeton University from 1964-1971 as the first black administrator to be hired there and at the University of Zambia from 1971-1974 as the only American black administrator in Black in Two Worlds. His observations in the volatile 1960s and early 1970s shed light not only on the application of his many talents at two very different institutions, but also on the times themselves.
