End Of World Blues

Dog Delorean, confined to a mental ward, is confessing his sins in the form of an extended blues riff. He’s a former journalist, estranged from his wife, at odds with normalcy, who believes that the world is about to end and that he is somehow responsible for preventing it. Not that he truly believes it, only that things keep happening to him which seem to confirm that it’s true. Besides, Dog has nothing better to do, so why not try to save the world? End of World Blues is a wild, funny ride into the marginal depths of a society apparently longing for annihilation. Aliens may or may not be involved. If nothing else, Dog is determined to go out in style. That nothing works out as planned, that the joke is ultimately on him, merely confirms the message of the blues: Nobody ever wins, but don’t take it personally.
