Mephisto in Venice

The sudden death of a retired chemist awakens the suspicions of a Zurich cardiologist, Dr Fahrni. The investigation, which at first seems to be a routine job, is entrusted to a young woman detective, Ester Correvon. It is her first assignment. She comes up against strong resistance on the part of the victim’s family circle, as well as from her superior officer. Before long she finds herself on the trail of a sophisticated crime.
