This seventh of the eight-volume edition of the collected letters of Joseph Conrad covers Conrad’s letters during the period 1920-22. Like its predecessors, this volume includes a high proportion of previously unpublished letters, or letters which have only previously appeared in small-circulation journals. Nearing his 70th year, and with his literary career drawing to a close, Conrad still manages to impress the reader with his interests in literature and the public events of his time.
