Using Co-Operative Inquiry to Raise Awareness of the Leadership and Organizational Culture in an English Primary School

In contrast to some of the recent attempts to narrow education to a prescribed and heavily tested curriculum, this work attempts to give back control to school staffs by enabling them to map the culture which they create and to foster the kind of leadership that would make it possible. Using a particular school in the UK as a model, it describes a collaborative approach where the “research” team is composed of the whole school staff together with an outside researcher.
