A Different Breed of Brother

Follow the lives of four college-educated Joe, Taj, Ck, and Marcus. Each brother demonstrates his own unique brand of “How to Mistreat a Woman 101.” Joe, who is about to get married, challenges the other brothers to a final weekend of promiscuity. Taj focuses on the women that won’t give him the time of day. Marcus wants to eventually hook up with a woman and have a family of his own, which means there is no room in his life for a single parent. Finall, Ck lives his life by his won rules, after years of “careful promiscuity,” he is faced with his own mortality. Each of the brothers faces a significant event, be it tragedy or taboo, which conjures up the old adage “everything comes with a price.” You’ll recongnize a lot of brothers you already know in the characters of this fast paced novel. In the end, each brother reconsiders his previous indiscretions and strives to change his life and become a “Different Breed of Brother.”
