A Travel Journal

This book was created out of our dissatisfaction with the travel journals that we found at book and travel shops. First, most were so sparsely and unimaginatively illustrated, they were only a little more pleasing than a blank book. We wanted ours to be visually exciting and evocative. Second, they seemed to try to serve all travel plans, and thus were imperfect for any given journey. Our journal is designed to record a single trip, one of from one to four weeks in duration. Pages for the planning stages, itinerary, places for photographs and space for the events of each day are included. We visualize someone completing this journal for a major journey, and then putting it onto a shelf with similar logs, thus compiling a travel autobiography. The book’s built-in elastic band will keep it conveniently closed or opened at any point.
