Classic Patterns of Poetry ranges from my adolescent years writing rhythm accented to music (examples, “You’re Playing Around with Love,” to the tune of “I Know,” and “Better Put Them Down, If You Know What’s Right Now!” based on the song “Locomotion,” and “Mr. Boss Man,” to the tune of “Mr. Sandman,” and a “Driver’s Slogan,” composed to “Stop in the Name of Love”) to my adult life involving politically motivated principles, religious and world events, romantic fantasies and common human, everyday emotions or activities. I believe you will find the table of contents listing my titles to be brief and exact to the point of my thoughts. Included also is an autobiography and background of my family roots which I think will capture the interest of the reader.
