Love and desire are examined in this book from a psychoanalytical point of view. Taking as a basis the Freudian category of desire and its various modalities of symptomatic substitutions, the author analyzes a number of pathologies alluding to some kind of failure in the poetics of love and to some form of disavowal regarding the ethics of the differences.
