Cytokines, Cholera and the Gut

This book covers the role of peptide mediators in the intestinal responses to infectious and inflammatory challenges presented by diverse disease states, including inflammatory bowel disease and infectious diarrheas and dysenteries, and the epidemiology and pathogenesis of cholera and related diarrheal diseases. The more than 40 papers included in the volume are written by leading researchers working on cytokines and mucosal responses.
