Finnish Year Book of Political Thought 1997

Finland has been a country with several competing intellictual centers regarding the reception and formulation of political thought. The ideas of Scandinavian, German, French, Anglo-American and Russian political thought have all been present in the Finnish intellectual arena. However, their international confrontations as well as their Finnish receptions and mixtures are still poorly represented in Finland and abroad. Finnish Yearbood of Political Thought is a response to these considerations.
