Granta Diary 2007: Classic Crime

The Granta Diary 2007 features original book jackets from some of the world’s best-known and loved crime books—from A is for Alibi to Devil in a Blue Dress, Murder at the Vicarage to Pop. 1280. It contains 53 striking book jacket designs in full color, with important dates for life and literature in the year ahead. On May 4, Sherlock Holmes meets Moriarty at the Reichenbach Falls. On October 15, Gerard Etienne’s body is found in the offices of Peverell Press. On December 1, Marian Halcombe’s diary entry reads “December 1st—a sad, sad day that I have no heart to describe at length.”
