This is the third title in the Storyteller’s Series, which is appropriate for high-beginner and low-intermediate learners of Spanish. The new novella takes readers on a time-travel journey with H-0011 (the protagonist), who is from Earth’s future. As readers travel back in time with H-0011 they are simultaneously introduced to important historical moments in Hispanic history, with a particular focus on the Caribbean region. This engaging story provides a format to encourage students to read for pleasure in Spanish and thereby further develop their language skills. Activities for students and suggestions for professors, in addition to a useful timeline of important dates in history, offer teaching tools that facilitate use of this reader in the class.
