Istanbul: The Great Palace Mosaic

This brochure was published to accompany an exhibition displaying the results of fifteen years of research on the Constantinople Palace Mosaic, at the Great Palce Mosaic Museum. It includes introductory information on the imperial palaces of Byzantium, and then explores the work done in discovering and preserving the Palace Mosaic. WIth many colour plates and a trilingual Turkish/German/English text, this approachable guide is the forerunner to a full scientific study,which will be published when the excavations have been completed.
