Lake Effect

After a career as a combat pilot, Tim and his wife, Penny, look forward to settling into quiet retirement. On their first day in their new home in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Tim hears about the funeral of the mother of a friend from high school. Almost immediately he’s washed into an investigation that embroils him in a family’s troubles, a community’s shady underbelly, and threat to his life. He begins to wonder if flying supersonic at 20,000 feet isn’t safer.
