Macroshift 2001-2010: Creating the Future in the Early 21st Century

Macroshift 2001-2010 does not forecast the future, it helps create it. It suggests that to create the future purposefully and effectively we must first of all answer two What is happening?, and What can we do about it? The message in Macroshift is that today’s events are a total civilization shift called a Macroshift, and that what we can do about it is to seize the unique change it offers in the first decade of the 21st century to rethink and reform the now dangerously antiquated civilization of the 20th century. Macroshift is not a theoretical exercise; its concern is not with the theory but with the requirements of civilization change. These are of a special not the design of public or corporate policy, not even the management of economic, political, or cultural systems and institutions. The principal requirement is to pioneer and promote a timely transformation in the values, behaviors and consciousness of women and men in our society. It is up to each of us to decide the outcome of the Macroshift we are currently entering by evolving our own consciousness, and helping to trigger similar change in the consciousness of others. How effective we are in this during the critical first decade of the 21st century will decide not only our own and our family’s future, but the opportunities for life and well being of people all over the world.
