Modernism and Ideology in Persian Literature: A Return to Nature in the Poetry of Nima Yushij

This book examines the concept of nature in the poetry of Nim Yushij (1895-1960), the founder of modern Persian poetry. The study discusses how nature is used both as an ideological device for new metrics, and as a source of inspiriation for nature poetry.
