Besides a raw conversation between a feminine picture and the man who observes it, Mujer en el bano is also a book of many contemporary questions and issues. Conservative hypocrisy, the rejection of immigrants, the neglect of public education, impatient Capitalism, and cultural cannibalism are some of the issues in which this work focuses, using irony and humor as tool against cyncism and indifference. Conscious that writing is always compromising, the author directs a glance towards what he defines as being “politically despicable.”
