My World in Words

My World in Words is a small compilation of works spanning the last 15 years. It highlights the basic human experience from tragedy to self discovery, randomly arranged to mirror our journey through this world. Each poem in this collection allows the reader a glimpse into the writeras life, heart, and state of mindaan intimate portrait and exposure of personal life experience, the building of a partial person into a whole, fragment by fragment. Each poem in this book speaks to us at a deeper level than casual conversation would normally allow. Each person who reads these lines will learn something about themselves as they take the journey with the writer, and feel as though they stepped out of their world and into another, where all the senses must be captured on paper to preserve their fleeting nature.
