Autobiography of Nathan Ballard, born with cerebral palsy, he was addicted to drugs as a child, placed in leg braces, sexually abused, physically abused but grew to love life through the help of his Uncle under the cherry tree. Nathan learned to read at the age of 22 years. He now speaks Japanese, German, Swahili and Spanish. He helped in the writing of the Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA).His mother did not think he was worth educating. Allowed to enter the University of Alabama, he recieved A’s for his work.
