New Century Chinese Textbook 1

New Century Chinese is, as the title indicates, for students of Mandarin Chinese in the new century. It is a complete beginner’s college-level Chinese program. To accommodate the needs of the students from different linguistic backgrounds, both the simplified and traditional versions of the Chinese characters have been employed side by side.
