On Islam and Shi’ism

This volume is the first translation of two of Kasravi’s works, Dar Piramoun-e Islam (On Islam) and Shi’igari (Shi’ism), both originally published on 1943. In the context of Shi’ism, Kasravi dared to directly attack the Shi’ite clergy, which angered religious groups and eventually led to his assassination by a group called the Fada’iyan-e Islam in 1946.
