Opportunity, Challenge and Privilege

This is written in response to many requests by people interested in the making of both the stained glass windows at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral and the stained glass and glass mosaics in “Glencairn,” the home of Raymond Pitcairn in Bryn Athyn, and also by those interested in the early days of Pitcairn Aviation, as I had some connection with both. In order to tie the two things together in some chronological order, I decided to put this account into autobiographical form. The things recorded here are either from my personal experience or were told to me by those who had a part in them. To the best of my knowledge and belief the account is true as to the facts recorded. Personal observations concerning certain persons are only to try to clarify the situation as it existed.
