Pat the Cat’s Scribble Book

Children from the age of four need lots of practice in their efforts to become good at reading writing and spelling. Scribbling drawing and doodling improve hand-eye control and are essential first steps in learning to write. The activities in this book additionally help develop phonic skills while encouraging young “authors” to understand story characters and structure. The book has two wipe-clean pages where children can practise writing with water-based felt-tip pens wipe clean and practise again. It also has two pages of self-adhesive full-colour stickers. The stickers make the skill-building activities fun and allow young authors to decorate their finished work with the Hawkins’ charming illustrations.
