Portraits of Anarchists

Portrit photos and brief biographies of a selection of anarchists, including Murray Bookchin. This book of black and white photographs and related quotes compiled by Casey Orr and music CD by Chumbawamba encapsulates a knowledge, feeling and dedication towards the ideas of anarchism. The songs on the CD accompanying the book were written in response to both the photographs and to the interviews with the people being photographed. The words draw on specifically anarchist ideas; the music has been put together without relying on Chumbawamba’s “usual” instrumentation.
