Reporting Child Abuse: A Guide to Mandatory Requirements for School Personnel

Based on an analysis of American state reporting statutes, this book provides a general statement about child abuse reporting requirements. In so doing, it highlights areas that need to be considered by school personnel when reporting suspected child abuse. Topics examined mandatory requirements to report child abuse and neglect; the required content of a child abuse report; school district responsibilities related to child abuse situations; and immunity provision for those reporting child abuse.
