Second Face Berida’s Lives

This companion video to “We Only Come Here to Struggle” follows Berida Ndambuki, a 62-year-old dried staples trader, to her work at Gikomba Market in Nairobi and to her home at Kathonzweni in Ukambani in central Kenya. The portrait presented is complex, and, although it is a personal journey, the video shows the living conditions of a large number of Kenyan women.
