Silent Thunder

IRA terrorists blackmail a U. S. Air Force missile officer at Vandenberg Air Force Base, in California, to program a missile to land on London. There is a murder and Randy Blake, a retired Air Force pilot, is implicated. Efforts to clear himself take him to Portugal, where he discovers that backing and planning for a big happening in California is coming from an international dealer in illegal arms, and a member of the IRA. The missile is launched, and countries on two continents hold their breath while they try to figure out how to stop it. Romance and intrigue abound.
