After Lloyd asked, “What do you think about organizing a retreat for retired ‘geezers’ like us?” a period of brainstorming ideas and details brought this to reality. Out of Len’s revelation that he felt they were being called to “write a book,” came the birth of Spiritual Secrets of Aging Mallwalkers and Old Friends. Over fifty years ago, the nucleus of a Young Adult Fellowship gathered, following a New Year’s Eve evangelistic service in Mechanic’s Hall in Boston, and the resulting impromptu meeting was the beginning of a journey that has lasted over half a century. This book is about their lives as they approached and reached the retirement years, the support they received from each other and the basis of that support as it is centered in their faith, their church and their lives.
