The book takes the form of an epic poem in prose and starts with the life and death of Hayfield guard Ronnell Felton and continues with brother Cornell Felton’s time at Hayfield. It ends with the Hawks’ run for the State Championship in 2000. But it’s more than a book about basketball. It is a poetical basketball journey.
