I had not particularly sought to set up as a channel of communication in this way but the initiative seemed to come from with, nagging away at me compulsively, much as I believe some poets are pressured by their muse, until I sat down and did something about it—if only to prove to myself it was all nonsense or of no great consequence. To my surprise it all started to flow quite readily and the tact that it now appears in print means that at least I and the publishers feel that there is something within it all that is worth sharing.
