The Cost of Living, the play; Beauty & the Breast, the exhibit

Members of the Anchorage Women’s Breast Cancer Support Group discovered they were working on similar projects in 1992 to increase breast cancer awareness. Their combined creative efforts, a photography exhibit coordinated by Louise Lazur of anonymous chest profiles, and a play written by Nielsen and Stadem have resulted in this book, whose proceeds will help benefit breast cancer research.
