The Eagle And the Dragon in Asia: The United States, China, And the Rise of Asian Regionalism

This book argues that the United States lacks a well thought out response to far-reaching changes in Asia. In the past, the U.S. government has handled trade and investment policy separately from diplomatic and security issues. The authors examine the shifts in economic and political power in the region and argue that these critical challenges need to be linked explicitly and addressed together.
