The Final Undertaking

Chuck Roehmer’s father, a missionary in Vietnam, heroically saves many lives after the fall of Saigon. A decade later Chuck, fresh from The Wharton School, builds a mortuary empire beginning in Florida. With his financial success, Chuck, aided by a former prof and a gay war correspondent, takes on two new projects. First, he creates a medical center as a memorial to his father. Then, avoiding a wise-guy faction from Miami in search of a laundry facility, he launches a new acquisition program in an industry in even greater need of improvement. The combined ventures make up his final undertaking.
