ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Muriel E. (Gammons) Eddy and Clifford Martin Eddy, Jr. were married on February 10, 1918 following a correspondence which developed from their common intrest in creative writing.

Mrs. Eddy wrote many profiles of H.P. Lovecraft over the years. She was also president of the Rhode Island Writers’ Guild for over twenty years, and was an accomplished poet and author.

Mr. Eddy had many of his short stories published in mystery,detective, and pulp magazines, most notably Weird Tales. He worked in collaboration with Lovecraft on research projects for the magician Harry Houdini. Mr. Eddy’s works have also been published in various anthologies and collections over the years.
