The Legal Context of Teaching

Society is becomining increasingly litigious and teachers can find themselves in very vulnerable positions. It is increasingly important for them to have an awareness of the legal environment in which they work. This book clearly presents the main areas of law affecting teachers, highlights some of the problems that law gives rise to in practice as a result of recent legislation, and presents key policy issues underlying legal changes.
