The Transnational Corporate Class and its Migration

Migratory movements are acknowledged as a key feature of the current phase of capitalist development, with an increasingly significant movement of corporate migrants. This key text examines how and why corporate migration takes place and the reasons for the continuing willingness of transnational corporations to accommodate its high cost and to continue to facilitate the movement of their senior managers. Based on interviews with over thirty senior managers and expatriot families, The Transnational Corporate Class and its Migration explores how knowledge is transferred around the world.
