These charming stories enchant the child because they come from the mind of a child. Stephane Geneau was 10 years old when he penned these simple, engaging tales. He wrote them in English. Then, one day a sailing yacht dropped anchor in the bay in front of his Sechelt home. The black ship had come all the way from France. The skipper’s wife was Celine de Nagual, a distinguished graphic artist who agreed to illustrate Stephane’s stories. When the project was complete, it seemed only natural to present them in both French and English.
