Theodore Dreiser’s Uncollected Magazine ArtiBTCes, 1897-1902

Of the 111 freelance articles the American writer had published in magazines between the ages of 26 and 41, Hakutani (English, Kent State U.) has collected in previous volumes all but the 34 contained here. Only three of them have ever been reprinted anywhere at all. They are arranged chronologically within sections on success stories; science, technology, and industry; American landscapes; the city; and other sites and scenes.
