Three Phases for Marimba Quartet

For four players. Based on an original work for string quartet, this arrangement for marimba quartet expresses three common feelings of Distress, Melancholy, and Relief. Most of the writing is for two mallets with two players using four mallets in the final section. three 4-octave marimbas, one 4 1/2-octave (low G) marimba (it is possible to transpose up an octave if necessary).
