When the Stars Shine Down, the Magic Opens Up

Kyla Patrick’s empathic heart enables her to feel the depth of emotions that are shared by many and displayed in her poetry. Through her experiences in love, life and sharing with others, she is able to write what many feel but are unable to put to words. The poem titled “My Prayer,” that was written for a friend whose mother passed, was well received. She gave this poem to others who have had a loss and was surprised at their reaction. Many felt a personal connection with the poem, and a few tears were shed. This confirmation encouraged Kyla to keep following her passion and her dream.
